Langport and Huish Episcopi Youth Group runs a club session every Tuesday night from the Ridgway Hall in the centre of Langport. It is open from 18:30 - 20:30 for young people from age 11 who are in school year 7 + to 19, or 25 years of age for someone who has extra needs. We are also available from 17.00 till 21.00 every Tuesday if you need, advice or c card in a non-club setting.
The Youth Club is free to join, all you need to do is come in and complete a registration form, which we ask parents to give consent and sign it. We then charge a weekly fee of just £1.00 and once inside you will be welcomed by everyone at this friendly club. Most weeks we supply free fruit and or toast as we are members of FareShare as well.
We have a snack bar, lounge area, pool table and activity room. Every week there is a choice of activities you can get involved in or if you just want to relax and meet with friends you are welcome to just come in and chill. The activities are chosen by you, so come along and let us know what you want!
We also run a monthly Warhammer club which is held on the first Saturday of the month from13:30 - 16:30. At this model club we also have other games being played and some model train activity going on, come and have a look. Entry to this is £1.00
We remain open during the school holidays and then we provide extra activities from trips to overnight stays, workshops and lots of other fun stuff as well. We also have various workshops which range from learning to cook to painting flags to pamper sessions; we post this on twitter and facebook.
The club is run in the Langport & District Community Youth Centre which is supported by The Youth Club Committee: we are a locally run charity supporting young people in our area.

Although we have a dedicated team of qualified youth workers, we are always looking for volunteers (any age). This is great fun and a good experience, we provide training and celebration events as well. We also welcome work experience from schools and university’s and DOE students.
