Volunteer opportunities With SRFC
Hello and Happy New Year
It's fantastic that we have recently seen a huge increase in our Mini and Junior section at Somerton Rugby Club. Every Sunday we now have well over 100 children and their parents joining us at this family orientated Club.
This means that we have some volunteer opportunities available with everything from helping with the teas and coffees on a Sunday morning to maintenance at the ground or even helping out with one of our sensory walks.
We would like to involve the wider community and offer opportunities to people who perhaps haven't been involved in a Rugby Club before.
It is for this reason that I'm trying to get the word out there through lots of different means. It might suit people who maybe feeling isolated, or young people wanting to get involved on a non-sporting level, and would like to spend one Sunday morning a month helping out, but maybe also be open to people with mixed abilities that would love to just get involved on some level.
