This video includes two songs followed by a potted history of a local, famous Folk Singer, Emma Overd. There is also a selection of images depicting scenes that would have been familiar to Emma (1838-1928).
The songs are sung by Amanda Boyd aka 'Mrs Price's Parlour'.
Once activated (click anywhere on the image screen) you may vary the picture quality and size by using the controls along the lower edge.
Two of the many songs passed on to Cecil Sharp by Emma Overd, interpreted and sung by Amanda Boyd - Draggle Tail Gypsies and Green Fields of Somerset.
