I have lived and worked in Somerset for the last fifty-three years and been a resident in Wearne since 1983. I am married to Beverly and we have three grown-up daughters. On retiring from Westland Helicopters, I joined Huish Episcopi Parish Council in 2002 and have served the interests of our community, especially Wearne and Combe residents, ever since. Some of my past major involvements have been helping to keep the free car parking in Langport Town and sorting out the numerous issues with the new Bartlett’s Elm roundabout which I am delighted to say has proved to be a great improvement for both traffic flow and pedestrian safety. I have more recently been involved in compiling a community survey and analysing the results. I remain dedicated to serving to the best of my ability the whole community with the main objective for Huish Episcopi and Langport Town to continue to flourish and prosper.
Specific responsibilities: Community, Annie Tite Fund, War memorial, Community Speed Watch.
